The loss of the assembly plant in Vovchansk, Kharkiv region, has dealt a serious blow to the image of the Russian military. This facility is currently target number one for the occupiers.

This was reported by Vitaliy Sarantsev, the spokesperson for Operational Task Group "Kharkiv", to Suspilne on Monday, September 30.

How Russians are trying to destroy an assembly plant in Kharkiv region

According to Sarantsev, despite the fact that the enterprise is neither tactically nor strategically important, the Russians are striking at it with all available weapons, including heavy machine gun systems.

"The enemy is using the heavy flamethrower system TOS-1A and dropping guided bombs (KABs), following its standard practice: if they can't seize something, they destroy it... The occupiers dropped aerial bombs. This facility remains under our control, of course, with all safety measures in place to prevent any losses of personnel or equipment," the spokesperson noted.

Earlier, the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) explained the significance of the liberation of the assembly plant in Vovchansk for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Control over this facility will improve the logistics of the Defense Forces and create a foothold for further offensives and the liberation of Vovchansk.

Recall that on September 26, the Russians attacked Kharkiv with guided bombs (KABs). One of the bombs hit a private house.
